Anyone else notice the poll figures are wanky as heck? This must be fake news?
15% (not sure) + 24% (no) + 71% (yes) is listed for the 40-64 age bracket. Add those numbers folks.
71 + 24 + 15 = 110%. How does a survey add up to 110%? I might not be the best at math but even I can see that's BS. The other age brackets add to 100 but this specific age bracket ads to 110%. Very odd. Maybe they increased the "don't know" by 10% by accident and that should be 5%? As that would add to 100 and be in line with the "other" age bracket groups. Don't trust a pollster that can't add to 100 is all I'm saying.
How did they get this wrong? Is the "formula" they used to calculate if its an "excel table" correct on lines 1, 2, and 4 but incorrect on 3? or were they fudging the numbers to create a desired outcome and ....messed up on their fudging/generating stuff from thin air? Seeing bad data like this calls the whole survey into question for me. I pray/hope it is just a small formula error with legitimate survey data.
I'm not overly surprised by 5% "unsure" to be honest. As I wouldn't know how to answer that question, if I were a vaxxer. Like you'd have to ask for clarification on "Did you take a covid-19 vaccination?" ... "I don't know. Do you mean the latest Winter one? or the Spring one? or within the last 6 months? or like just the first 2? or are you counting even just 1? or are you asking about if I've received a covid-19 booster? Does J&J count b/c its just 1 shot if you are asking about the first 2?" As an unvaccinated person, I simply can say "no" to all....but if I were vaccinated, I wouldn't know what they meant and be confused from just that question polled.
What I think is the much more interesting statistic is 31%!! of Democrats think it is "very likely" the covid-19 vaccine may have caused significant number of unexplained deaths. That's only 1% behind Republican. So its about 30% overall. 15% think they know someone who died directly from the covid-19 vaccine, which means ~1 in 6 democrats basically think companies and the president is still endorsing a product that is responsible for death....and mandating as part of a children's regular vaccine schedule. I wonder if that will be a voting-issue or influence voting at all. Sadly, Donald Trump is still pro-vaccine too.
That would be clear. The question listed is "Did you receive a covid-19 vaccine?". "Have you ever" has a different implication that "did you" and even if they had asked, "did you ever" would have been more clear.
Take the following three questions for example:
"Have you ever had sex?"
"Did you ever have sex?"
These questions you can just answer easily "Oh yeah, I'm not a virgin" or "Not yet! Saving till marriage!" or "no....*soft crying*"
I think that 'did you have sex' is a much vaguer question because of the numerous other details that are a crucial part of how people understand 'having sex'
'did you receive a covid vaccine' doesn't really leave much to the imagination though - there are no other important details that define what it means to receive a vaccine, it's a very binary proposition
Had they asked 'are you vaccinated' that is much different, because vaccinated is a status that involves a bunch of other considerations and thus people are more liable to be unsure what precisely is being asked

She looked totally confused and just shook his head. She then said, "Fo you want a covid booster?" He looked relieved that she had come up with an option and he nodded vigorously in assent!
I'm sure if anyone had asked that poor, confused man how many jabs he has received over the last 5 years, between covid, rsv, pneumonia, and the flu" vaccines", he would probably have no idea!
We do not have a Healthcare System - we have a big Pharma distribution system, period!!
I *suspect* that someone I know was killed by the injection, but he was also 82 years old and could have dropped dead in his kitchen from any number of natural causes. Still, he was healthy, trim, and active: deer hunting every fall, fishing the rest of the year, always outdoors doing something.
