This comes from journalists quoting public health/academic medicine people based on “modeling” studies, and Fauci himself has claimed many lives were saved by the vaccines. We are fighting institutionalized propaganda.
I would add that many of the decisions and actions we attribute to "government" are not made or implemented at the direction of government officials; rather, they are made by our corporate overlords who have effectively and completely taken near-full control over the functions we used to attribute to government officials. In sorrow, and often with anger (but resolvedly), turned away from the illusions and kabuki theater and looked to my Father. The ‘tools’ given to a child of God are different than those of the world; you tear down and clear away the idols in your heart, the obvious ones and those you hadn't realized you had erected, and restore that place in which you weep, seek forgiveness and pray. In this restoration of humility and gratitude, I found His mercy, grace, peace and hope, unassailed by their chaos and ‘dragons’.
A lot of this applies to Canada, as well.

A survey of a "religious community" about government and covid?! What you wrote is very true, still, what would be the purpose of this survey.
They want to understand what views the community has about govt to understand the political situation
The question I presume is there because they realize that covid was a watershed that changed how many people viewed govt
I took the opportunity to communicate some truth bombs to the people running the survey, who do not typically come across people from our side who can articulate cogent arguments without pointless sensational-sounding tropes (from their perspective)
