My aunt had minor side effects (headache, muscle stiffness) after her 1st shot but then was bedridden 4 days after her 2nd shot. She was in severe pain and had severe muscle weakness. After lots of tests, she was diagnosed with polymyalgia rheumatica. After steroid treatment, she did improve. When visiting her rheumatologist for a check up, he asked her when she was getting her booster shot!!! Thank goodness she refused to even entertain the idea.
