The CDC assigned B99 - 'Other and unspecified infectious diseases' - to hundreds of covid deaths in MA & MN that did not specify any other infectious disease in 2021 but not any other year
Thanks for this work. Have you looked into the CDC's nationwide mortality data (which do not look good for the vaccine at all)? The CDC's reported nationwide age-adjusted death rates per 100k were 835.4 for 2020 and 879.7 for 2021, compared to 715.2 for 2019. So for the US population of ~330 million, that amounts to about 397,000 excess deaths in 2020 and 543,000 excess deaths in 2021. Now looking at 2022 is much more problematic because their estimates for 2022 are "provisional" (you can verify for yourself that they played the same "provisional" game with 2021 last year and gave an undercount by 5% in the "provisional" report so that people would stop looking or forget to look for the updated report, which finally revealed 8 months later that >5% of deaths were omitted in their "provisional" 2021 report). Their "provisional" estimate for 2022 is 832.8- we really should adjust it for the "provisional" factor, but even if we don't it amounts to about 388,000 excess deaths for 2022.
So not even including 2023 we already have a MINIMUM of over 930,000 excess deaths in 2021 and 2022 combined based on CDC mortality reports. That's an average of >465,000 excess annual deaths post-vaccine, compared to 397,000 excess annual deaths pre-vaccine (in 2020). And don't forget that the early COVID variants in 2020 (e.g. Alpha) were INTRINSICALLY much more dangerous than the later variants, and COVID treatments have also substantially improved since early in the pandemic. Bluntly put, the vaccines have been WORSE THAN USELESS for saving lives overall.
The Covid vaxx causes a dip in immunity immediately after the jab, which lasts for under a week. Many patients who died very shortly after the jab did so because their immune system dipped too low and got overwhelmed. So they would quickly develop sepsis from a combination of Covid and pneumonia and other bacteria. I believe that's what you are seeing with this B99 code.
That is a whole lot of medical-record review to end up with an enigma.

Of course, the gold-standard randomized clinical trials done by Pfizer and Moderna themselves also showed that mRNA vaccines are worse than useless for saving lives overall. After the last four years or maybe the last 50, I assume the CDC is a totally dysfunctional operation that cannot and should not be saved.
